About Camile Gauthier

I’m a passionate storyteller, geek, artist, maker and dreamer. I make things. I make stories. I love making things that make stories better. I am currently a Senior Designer in CBC's Newsroom and a Post-Grad Instructor at Centennial College. In terms of personal highlights, my sizzle reel so far includes founding a tech start-up, a few short films, an Alternate Reality Game, a paradigm redefining communication platform, working in a creative capacity for almost two decades at an enterprise-level company, building 6 AR experiences, made a multiplayer Wii game, lecturing and leading workshops on AR, storytelling, entrepreneurialism at conferences, Universities and Colleges, producing a national-level scripted scavenger hunt game, a number of storyworlds for games, too many web series, building my own Macintosh, mastering bacon making, creative lead on some animation projects and conquering a life-long fear of heights. and most likely a whole other pile of stuff I'm forgetting.
