About Camilla Ahlgren

I am a nurse driven by an ethical responsibility to promote health which made me found a company, Friska.se, that treats the metabolic syndrome. My mission is to end the suffering related to high levels of insulin in the body. My main interest is in health and nutrition though I'm quite easy interested in any subject, for the moment I find Big History fascinating. My background lays in addiction treatment and medical inpatient care. I have worked in management position building quality assurance systems. I have experience from crossculture care doing clinical practice as a nurse in Thailand where I also wrote my candidate essay on Sense of Coherence among drug and alcohol dependent patients. My understanding of health comes from physiology and evolution medicine in which I recently gotten further education.
