Hi! Thanks for taking time to read my LinkedIn profile. I’m from a small town in the South of Italy, Cava de'Tirreni. I grew up playing a lot of sport and I guess being born into a super competitive family, definitely helped me develop a strong sense of pride to win at everything that I do. I believe in any sport, you don’t play to participate, you play to win. I played competitive volleyball for 8 years, which embedded a winning mentality in me from a young age. During my younger years, I saw my parents travelling and working in several different industries, which really inspired me to achieve more than the average person. I realised very quickly that I didn’t want to stay in my small town forever. I went to University, where I studied Tourism Management and did my final year in Paris. After reflecting a lot about my options, I definitely didn’t see a future for myself in Tourism. I wanted a more challenging career and to make a name for myself! Therefore, I decided to move to London on my own (I’ve always had a passion for English literature) as I believed a big city would give me a lot more opportunity. Once in London I took the standard route of hospitality, mainly to improve my English and be able to support myself. Once I was settled in, I soon realised that this wasn’t my end goal and where I wanted to be long term. I didn't know what I was looking for, but what i did know is that I wanted something more challenging, that involved communicaton and was more business oriented. That's when I came across the Sales and Marketing industry. I fell in love with the fast paced competitive environment that reminded me a lot of sport. I’ve now been working in the industry for few years and in that time I’ve seen myself grow personally and professionally. I’m looking for great people who are looking to take the next step in their career but maybe haven’t had a chance to find their ideal role yet, just like me.
