About Camille Dodd

Entrepreneur and biotech operator with a track record of building and scaling ventures, from coffee distribution to cancer diagnostics. I began as the first Nespresso-compatible capsule competitor in Canada and the U.S. After exiting that venture, I co-founded a specialty coffee distribution company, now in 600+ stores and generating $2M+ in ARR. The company became cashflow positive in 3 years and is now led by a full-time CEO, while I remain a shareholder. I’m now dedicated to Rynd Biotech, where we’re redefining urine-based diagnostics. We started with an aptamer-based STI platform to deliver faster, digital results in underserved settings. To accelerate commercialization, we focused on a patented, clinically validated set of bladder cancer biomarkers. Following strong clinical performance, a rapid non-invasive test will be developed to help reduce the number of cystoscopies performed. Supported by top medtech VCs, public funders, and research institutions, we’re advancing regulatory planning and global clinical benchmarking. The aptamer platform remains part of our long-term vision for digital and multiplex diagnostics. I bring experience across product, regulatory, logistics, and commercialization, with strong financial oversight. Above all, I believe in surrounding myself with the best. You can’t do it alone. J’ai lancé la première capsule compatible Nespresso au Canada et aux États-Unis. Après cette sortie, j’ai cofondé une entreprise de distribution de café, présente dans 600+ points de vente, générant plus de 2 M$ en revenus récurrents. Rentable en 3 ans, elle est aujourd’hui dirigée par un CEO, et je reste actionnaire. Je me consacre maintenant à Rynd Biotech, où nous redéfinissons le diagnostic urinaire. Nous avons commencé avec une plateforme aux aptamères pour le dépistage rapide des ITS. Pour accélérer la commercialisation, nous avons concentré nos efforts sur des biomarqueurs brevetés et validés pour le cancer de la vessie. Un test rapide non invasif sera développé pour réduire le nombre de cystoscopies. Soutenus par des VCs medtech, des fonds publics et des partenaires de recherche, nous avançons vers la réglementation et les essais mondiaux. La plateforme aptamère reste au cœur de notre vision à long terme. Je m’appuie sur une expertise produit, réglementaire, logistique et financière. Mais surtout, je crois en l’équipe.
