About Camille Rose

I am currently a second year student at Trent University, pursing my Bachelors of Social Work. My work and volunteering experience reflects my utmost dedicated passion of working with children and youth with multi-exceptionalities and mental health issues. I continue my journey by volunteering in my community, attending professional development workshops and networking with other educators and helping professionals, in hopes to highlight and enhance my current knowledge and skills, as well as to best support individuals in my community. I've been given the opportunity to work as an Educational Assistant for the Durham District School Board. This position has allowed me to work 1:1 with children and youth of various populations and along side: Teachers, Special Education Resource Teachers, Child and Youth Workers, Early Childhood Educators and Social Workers. Throughout my profession of working in the community services field, my hope is to continually provide a positive and safe environment so all may feel welcomed, cared for and most importantly, valued. I as an educator, instill in my practice a platform for all to feel that they can showcase and feel proud of their true authentic self.
