About Camyla Pearson

Currently a care coach with Lumata Health. I have experience with Salesforce. I was lead technician at Cherry Creek Eye Physicians and Surgeons in Denver, CO. As a member of management, I help to ensure clinic flows smoothly and efficiently. In doing so, I make sure patients are seen at their designated appointment times, and our providers are able to see a high influx of patients. I have 10 years of ophthalmology experience. Along with patient flow, I train new technicians, handle prior authorizations, help with inventory and process contact lens orders. My clinic skills include checking vision, AR, refractions, BAT, EOMs, CVF, Goldmann Applanation, eyecare, pachymetry, dilation, OPTOS imaging, and obtaining a thorough HPI. I am a JCAHPO certified ophthalmic technician. I also scribe when needed and perform a variety of tests for cataract evaluations (such as iTrace and A-scans). I am able to do Eaglet topography on keratoconus patients and have assisted with RxSight Light Adustable Lens procedures. I have experience with NexTech EMR software, along with EPIC. Graduated top of my class in 2016 at St. Catherine University in Minneapolis, MN. I worked in Retina for the first half of my career. I performed fluorescein angiograms, have experience with Zeiss and Heidelberg OCTs and Kowa Fundus photos. I also assisted with intravitreal injections and gained a lot of experience on very high volume clinic days. I relocated to Denver, CO in 2018 and worked as a COT at UC Health. I worked with pathologies related to Glaucoma, Retina, Uveitis and Oncology. I also did a lot of general ophthalmology while working at the Boulder satellite clinic. I look forward to growing even further in ophthalmology and excited for any new opportunity that arises.
