About Can Acar

From the dreams of my childhood, my journey in aviation has always been a deep passion. Oh! I was definitely dreaming so much about flying those planes looking through the windows when I was a little child… I am flying as a Captain Pilot in Turkish Airlines, I have been flying Airbus 320 Family aircrafts across 60+ countries and 180 airports since September 2016. I currently have 5600 logged flight hours of which 1100 hours are PIC in A319/320/321, and Multi Engine experience since the time I have started my flight training in 2014, I have gained extensive experience and knowledge. I currently hold FAA ATP with A320 Type Rating, also ICAO ATPL License, and both of them are Unrestricted ATP Licenses. My career as a pilot is driven by a lifelong fascination with flight and a commitment to continuous learning. This dedication extends beyond the cockpit; I am also deeply involved in creating flight simulation training content. Beyond my flying duties, I have also involved in non-flying duties on Fleet Management, preparing our Fleet Newsletter which involves mostly technical stuff covering current incidents or pilot need-to-knows, and that is published every mid-month to the Pilots in Airbus 320 Fleet. I am deeply passionate about aviation since childhood, and I constantly seek to improve my skills and competencies. My goal is to deliver safe, efficient, and enjoying flights to whole of my crew, and customers.
