About Can Uzer

I am a seasoned and versatile game sound designer with a strong balance of artistic, technical, and managerial skills across multiple platforms and genres, and a solid background in recording arts and interactive media. Currently, I work as Lead Sound Designer at Rovio/SEGA, where I oversee audio direction, mixing, sound design, technical sound design and more. I play a key role in team mentorship and supervision, improving audio workflows, and supporting audio tech development. Since 2014, I’ve contributed to a wide range of projects across PC, console, mobile, and VR platforms, working on genres from fantasy to sci-fi, action to cartoon. I'm experienced using industry-standard tools such as Wwise, FMOD, REAPER, Pro Tools, Unreal Engine, Unity3D, GIT, Perforce, etc. Some notable titles I have contributed to- Angry Birds: Dream Blast - Angry Birds 2 - Angry Birds: Journey - Hawken Reborn - CrossfireX: Operation Catalyst - Downward Spiral: Horus Station As a designer, I focus on authentic sound, responsive implementation, and compelling narratives. As a lead, I prioritize creating coherent soundscapes, streamlining workflows, and fostering collaboration to ensure top-quality work.
