About Candace Brown

Dr. Candace Brown is a native of Dallas, Texas. She attended Lake Highlands High School in Richardson ISD, where she first decided to pursue a career in dentistry. She went on to receive her B.S. degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Baylor University. While at Baylor, Dr. Brown was very active in the community and on campus serving as a member of the Baylor Nutrition Society, a Mission Waco Ministries Mentor, Special Olympics Volunteer, Waco Humane Society Volunteer, and the President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Baylor College of Dentistry during which time she served as an active member and President of the Student National Dental Association and was awarded the Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health Award by the American Association of Public Health Dentistry. Dr. Brown is an active member of the Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, American Dental Association, and the National Dental Association. She also serves as a committee member of the Urban League of Greater Dallas Young Professionals where she continues her commitment to community service. She enjoys the unique opportunities dentistry provides to changes lives and build lasting relationships. She strives to not only treat her patients to quality care but to educate them on how they can improve their own dental care needs. In her spare time, Dr. Brown is an avid lover of sports and she enjoys attending sporting events with family and friends. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and cooking.
