I have been specializing in Public Health for about a decade. As Public Health, we mitigate illnesses and diseases through education, trend and report analysis, communication, and other prevention measures. Investigation of illness trends is paramount in detecting a possible surge, and if a trend is noticed, advisories are published with tips and tricks on how to protect oneself and family. I have served over beneficiaries of my current location. The other four years I was involved Professional Military Education, where I taught and facilitated leadership development. Teaching, coaching, and mentoring is a passion of mine. I love helping people. As a Professional Military Education instructor, I facilitated many discussions about team-building, trust-based relationships, providing feedback, and much more. I feel as if I was making a positive impact on people. I was developing empathetic, transformational leaders for the Air Force. I delivered over hours of instruction, impacting nearly 950 students.
