About Candace Crawford

The driving force behind everything I do is always helping others improve themselves. As educators, we have to empathize with the world of our students instead of tearing it down and saying,"Well, in my day/experience.". Their time is now and it is beautiful! I am skilled at-Curriculum Development: particularly hands-on, interactive learning and global perspective integration -Presentation: building and delivering -Instruction: adult and children (focus demographic: 12-18)-Program design: detail-oriented outlook I believe that everyone can learn and grow; it's why I've dedicated my time to teaching and training. A transformative moment for me as a classroom teacher was the realization that every unit could be molded around a life lesson or soft skill we all need to thrive. That's true for the refugee adults I've taught, it was true for the international students I taught in Singapore, and it's true for every American student as well. I can give you numbers for how I've helped those I've taught grow subject-wise.(81% of the 7th graders I taught in Singapore improved on standardized test scores.) However, I enjoy the unquantifiable purpose I've found in educating others - personal growth and self-confidence. I am looking for opportunities to lead, present, and educate.
