About Candace Major

BSN prepared RN with 15 years of experience to include Quality Management and Case Management experience with the Program for Medicaid members. Prior to working with LTSS members and providers, I have experience in Endoscopy, Medical Surgical Nursing and Pediatric Nursing. I enjoy a fast paced environment and have the ability to prioritize effectively and am very detail-oriented. I have had the pleasure of being on HCA's Employee Advisory Committee for 5 years and the Pediatric Staffing Committee while working on the unit. I completed my Clinical Ladder 4 years in a row while working at HCA. I completed by BSN with honors while working full-time. I love a challenge that’s why I was a preceptor for new CM’s in my prior role. My professional goal is to get back to the bedside or at least closer to the bedside to make a difference in patient’s life’s. Whether it be providing direct care or to coordinate needed care for transitions. I have always had an interest in Quality of Care and Patient Safety. I look forward to growing and advancing my career and hope to make a larger impact for patients in the future.
