About Candela Torres Romero

ENG: Working in a pharmaceutical editorial company and recently graduated from my Master's degree in Functional Materials in Aalto University. I am particularly interested in anything that is related to the medical field - which is the reason why I am working at Grupo Editorial Entheos a pharmaceutical editorial company in Spain and have combined that throughout my studies with working as a Research Assistant in the university doing light-activated microparticles that have applications both in environmental remediation and biomedical fields. Recently, I submitted my Master Thesis and moved back to Spain to focus on my work in Entheos full time, following my passion. As a person I would say I am creative, hard-working and always up for new challenges. I am particularly good with theoretical work - writing reports, correction of texts and so on. However, I have learned to work in the laboratory and like testing my abilities in that area as well. SPA: Trabajadora en una editorial farmacéutica y recientemente graduada de mi máster en Materiales Funcionales en la universidad de Aalto. Estoy particularmente interesada en cualquier cosa que se relacione con el campo de la medicina. Es por ello que trabajo en el Grupo Editorial Entheos, una editorial farmacéutica en España y he combinado eso durante mis estudios con el trabajo de asistente de laboratorio en la universidad, haciendo micropartículas que se activan con la luz y que tienen usos tanto en temas de remediación ambiental como en biomedicina. Recientemente y una vez acabado el Trabajo Final de Master, me mudé de vuelta a España después de casi seis años en Finlandia, para dedicarme a mi trabajo en Entheos a tiempo completo. Como persona diría que soy creativa, trabajadora y siempre dispuesta a enfrentarme a nuevos desafíos. Soy particularmente buena con el trabajo teórico - escribiendo reportes, corrigiendo textos y cosas por el estilo. Sin embargo, he aprendido a trabajar en el laboratorio y me gusta expandir mis horizontes en ese área también.
