About Candi McFee

I began my adulthood as a young parent of two children and quickly moved into parenting and a college education. I graduated from LBCC in 1998 with an associates degree as a Legal Assistant. My legal career has so far included working for the Fewel & Brewer law firm in Corvallis as a very fresh out of college role that involved filing, typing and basically non-stop learning. As my skills developed, I changed positions and became a full-time legal assistant at the Weatherford Thompson law firm in downtown Albany. I worked as the assistant to Mike Cowgill for 13 years. We primarily practiced in real estate law, business law, estate planning and probate. The position was wonderful and the staff and environment are exactly what any person in their young life would fit in well doing. Eventually, I left Weatherford Thompson and took a position at Nelson MacNeil Rayfield and have been there since 2013. Our primary practice is insurance law which focuses on motor vehicle accidents and medical malpractice. In my home life, I have been married since 2009 and all together have four children. My husband and I are raising two girls and my older two children are in their 20s. We enjoy our church family and have been attending Oak Creek Christian Church (now known as Neighborhood Church) in Albany, Oregon since moving to Albany in 2010. My husband and I have volunteered in the nursery, the toddler room, the preschool room, and kids' church. I returned to college at LBCC in 2017 to get an associates degree. In 2019, I transferred to Eastern Oregon University and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Business and Communication.
