I started my career on the surf shop floor during high school before transitioning into snow retail, spending 8 x winters snowboarding between Utah, USA, and NSW, Australia. This first-hand product and retail sales experience led me to take on product development and junior design roles at Billabong Australia, focusing on women’s and kids apparel and accessories. Later, I joined my talented friend at Wandering Folk in Byron Bay as her first employee, where I assisted creatively and administratively to contribute to the rapid growth of her start-up picnic accessories business. Wearing multiple hats in this role gave me valuable small business experience in product development, sourcing, warehouse, logistics, shipping, eCommerce (Shopify), customer experience, wholesale B2B (100+ stores), ERP systems (Cin7-Dear Systems), 3PL communication, marketing strategies, events, showroom retail, and general small business operations. After working part time and taking time to dedicate myself to motherhood, I’m now eager to return to full-time work. I’m looking for opportunities in product development and eCommerce with career growth potential, high also aligning with my passion for sustainability and thoughtful design.
