Emergency medicine may be my current focus, but inquiry, analysis, and communication have always been at the heart of what I do. I recently transitioned into emergency dispatching—a field where calm, clarity, and split-second decision-making are essential—and I’m currently working toward becoming a licensed Emergency Medical Responder to deepen my ability to serve in urgent, high-stakes situations. My foundation is in political science and international relations, and I have over four years of research assistant experience focused on democracy, social justice, and public policy. Media discourse analysis, literature reviews, and world affairs keep me up at night and get me out of bed every day. I'm an avid reader, tireless writer, and obsessed researcher who thrives on finding knowledge gaps and exploring them with curiosity and care. Professionally, I bring experience across unionised post-secondary administration, legal studies, journalism, hospitality, and banking—diverse sectors that sharpened my adaptability, systems thinking, and communication under pressure. Whether in a control room or in front of a research paper, I’m driven by the same core question: Where are we now, and where can we go from here?
