About Candice Mazon

I’ve built my career in medicine and public health with a focus on improving care for underserved populations. After earning my undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, I completed medical school at Drexel University and my pediatric residency at MedStar-Georgetown University Hospital. Currently, I’m an adolescent medicine fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital, with a passion for providing inclusive sexual and reproductive health care and gender affirming care for youth and young adults.As a current Masters of Public Health student, my public health interests focus on addressing structural determinants of health, expanding healthcare access, and improving care quality for safety-net populations. I’m passionate about leveraging my clinical expertise and public health knowledge to drive systemic change and promote health equity through a lens of justice and intersectionality.
