About Candice Root

I have lived in the Treasure Valley since 1995 when my family relocated here from Las Vegas. Being very active and having a love for the mountains, I instantly fell in love with Idaho! I am happily married with four beautiful children and believe that Boise is an incredible place to raise a family. When I’m not working or tackling a DIY house project, you will find me actively involved in my children’s hobbies, enjoying the outdoors all year round, working out, or throwing Boise State Football parties! I am the oldest of three with two younger brothers who have also made the valley their home. I was actively involved with my high school volleyball, softball and cheerleading squads and was granted a leadership scholarship upon graduation. After attending college at Weber State University in Utah, I quickly realized I had a passion for helping others feel confident and beautiful. I decided to pursue my Cosmetology license and follow that passion. Putting my talents and leadership skills together, I quickly established my own full clientele and was appointed as Assistant Manager in less than 6 months. It didn’t take long for me to branch out on my own and start my own in-home salon. Owning my own business has given me the skills and understanding of what it takes to be self-disciplined, driven and organized. I had a very successful 15 year career with many devoted and loyal clients at my side up until the end. I love connecting and truly getting to know the clients I serve. My hard work and dedication to not only my clients but to my husband and children, is a sure testament to my devotion to those I love. As my youngest child entered school, I decided it was time for me to pursue another avenue that would fulfill that passion to help others. I grew up surrounded by family in the residential building industry, and it naturally led to a love of real estate. As I personally experienced purchasing my own homes, I was shown the importance of having a good agent on your side. My goal is to make sure my clients know that I genuinely care, listen and have their best interests at heart. The hard work, dedication, loyalty and “get it done” attitude that I possess, combined with the passion for helping others is easy to see by the clients I work with.
