About Candice Schulz

Helping people is my passion and my specialty. This is why I chose to be a staffing professional. I am a "people person"​ and thrive on helping my clients and candidates achieve their goals. I have a total of 14 years of experience in recruiting. I started in 1998 at Shuler and Associates where I recruited nationwide for Advertising and Marketing candidates in the areas of Food and Beverage. Some of my larger clients include Burger King Corporation, McDonalds Corporation, Foote Cone & Belding, and DMB & B. I left Shuler and Associates to try my hand at outside sales. I joined Stewart Title and was the top Account Manager in Orange County for over 6 years, working with real estate brokers and mortgage lenders. After years of real estate "mixers"​ and expensive events, I realized that my heart was still in recruiting, where I felt I was really making a difference in peoples lives. I joined Amtec in October of 2010. I recruited both locally and nationwide for candidates in the areas of Engineering, IT, Accounting/Finance, Sales and Marketing, Consumer Electronics and Healthcare. After almost 5 years with Amtec I felt it was time to realize my dream of owning my own company. This way I can make my clients my #1 priority and give them the resources and services that they deserve. I now co-own Empowered Employment, LLC. My past clients, whom I consider friends, have reached out to us with so much support it is overwhelming. It's amazing what great customer service can lead to! We are truly blessed.
