Background
About Candida Holme
As an educator I have gained knowledge of the writing process, but have always wanted to write a book and have it published. I continued to read and learn how to become a better writer over the years. I have finally published a novel that deals with modern and ancient issues, which I became interested in through the study of my ancestry. I am writing a series of books, historical fiction, which appeal to those who love adventure and travel as well as history. Although my novel includes elements of war, its focus is upon the human struggles that began in ancient times and still continue today. My point of view character is a young woman who experiences difficulties and new adventures, while exploring the world as it existed before the fall of the Roman Empire.
