About Candida Wolfram

Candida has over 27 years of leadership experience, most of which in the Oil & Gas industry. Her career spans a broad range of functions and businesses, from Engineering and Project Management, to Finance and Treasury, and within the past six years, to Contracting & Procurement. Candida’s positions in Shell have traditionally had a broad remit, which helped hone in her ability to speak across lines of business and functions. Candida has a demonstrable ability to develop rapport quickly and communicates well at all levels of the organization. In 2015, Candida took on her current position as the Senior Supplier Manager in Deepwater and Downstream for Shell. In that capacity, she leads a team that works closely with key Group suppliers to identify and develop areas of short- and long-term mutual value, with a portfolio spend of $3.5 billion. As a Senior Supplier Manager, Candida quickly developed good relationships with an extensive network of internal and external stakeholders, from working-level colleagues to CEO/Executive Director levels, which enabled her and her team to identify and develop opportunities with suppliers to deliver value to Shell. Her academic achievements include a Summa Cum Laude B.Sc. Engineering and MBA. She also holds a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation. Candida is energized by learning new things, and driven by complex problem-solving. Candida has a passion for helping people and businesses grow. In 2016, she joined the Board of Directors of the WBEA (Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance), a non-profit organization based in Houston, focusing on advancing women-owned businesses in all industry sectors. As a native Brazilian, Candida is internationally and cross-culturally experienced, and fluent in English and Portuguese.
