Hello! I’m a goal-driven and experienced Accounting Specialist bringing expertise in account management and financial administration, gained over 20 years in the trucking industry who is enthusiastic about streamlining collections processes and improving billing procedures while connecting with customers by creating a relationship of trust. Developed internal reports using Excel to capture specific data for credit decision determination, revenue, DSO calculations and early pay discounts. My favorite task when it comes to Accounts Receivables is the “detective work”. Analyzing and researching account problems, connecting the dots and implementing a long term fix. It takes a special analytical mind to work in Accounting/Finance and I feel that I have the necessary mind and skill set. I am a quick learner, I have been told that I am a great teacher, and I teach based on assimilation, and examples that are easy to understand, as everyone learns differently.I also enjoy teaching other team members WHY I do what I do, and how it all connects at the end of the day with what they do as I feel that can improve the overall functionality and efficiency of the company. Outside of work, I am very family oriented, love fishing and antiquing.
