About Candy Weaver
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, San Bernardino in Fall 2020. I am currently pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Administration at Texas Southern University. My experience includes being a resident guest teacher and also working in various after-school programs. I am an Equity Guest Teacher with the San Bernardino City Unified School District and my goal is to support African American students and their families with improving their scholar’s academics. Equity is imperative to me, and I believe that it should be heavily implemented into the school curriculum. All students deserve the opportunity to receive an adequate education with the proper and necessary resources with highly qualified educators. It is my mission to be able to make this happen within the school district.
