Through his dedication to entrepreneurship, video production, the arts, and outdoor sports and recreation, Canyon is perpetually analyzing the line between risk and reward. He’s adept at creating a plan, implementing, and then achieving forward movement and growth. With strong leadership skills and a motivation to succeed, he inspires others around him–whether he’s the manager, part of the team, or both. Canyon’s most ambitious endeavor to date is his company, Lite Pro Gear; a business that provides Creative Image Makers with high performance, ultralight camera support equipment that contributes to higher production value. Anchored by its flagship product, The Feather Camera Crane™, Lite Pro Gear have sold their products through their online store and other distribution channels to customers worldwide for over four years. Additionally, Canyon is passionate about documenting outdoor adventures. While still managing his company over the last several years, he has found time to work on film crews in Alaska, Peru and the American southwest, making award-winning skiing, snowboarding and climbing movies. He also has a passion for sharing the outdoors with people from all walks of life. This can been seen in his experience as an outdoor guide. He’s guided heli-skiing, glacier trekking, hiking and sea kayaking in Alaska and Washington. As well, he has organized large expeditions. Canyon looks forward to continuing to bring new high-end production equipment to market, as well as documenting environmentally conscious outdoor recreation that provides inspiration to others.
