About Caprice Matukonis

With over five years of experience in the mental health field, I am passionate about empowering youth and families to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. As a Clinician at Southcentral Foundation, I provide counseling and support services to Alaska Native and American Indian children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or other adverse events. I have a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Colorado State University. I have developed strong skills in organization, communication, and youth mentoring through my previous roles as a Clinical Therapist, a Criminal Justice Technician, and a Clinician at Denali Family Services. I am also proficient in using various law enforcement and clinical programs, such as CJIS, and I adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards. I am committed to learning and growing as a clinician and as a person, and I seek to make a positive difference in the lives of the people I serve.
