About Cara Clayton

Currently, I am an Implementation Consultant at Paylocity, where I lead the implementation process for clients, ensuring the seamless integration of our payroll and HR software systems. I focus on understanding client needs, guiding them through technical setups, and ensuring a smooth transition to our platform. Throughout my work, I’ve gained extensive experience in project management, problem-solving, and client relations. I am particularly proud to be one of only five people at Paylocity trained to implement Growth Market Deals, Franchise Deals, Hybrid Majors Deals, and onboard new Managed Service Providers (MSPs). My role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure clients’ needs are met, while helping them optimize their use of our technology and ensure successful, tailored implementations for complex client needs. Throughout my professional journey, I have had the opportunity to start in a rotational Leadership Development Program at Paylocity, which allowed me to gain exposure to various facets of the business and view challenges from different perspectives. This experience helped me develop a deep understanding of business operations and provided valuable insights into executive strategy. As a result, I’ve been able to grow in areas such as strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership. I am always excited to connect with others who share a passion for Customer Service, Payroll or Plants!
