About Cara Daly

In my 17+ years working in the world of digital, I have grown my passion for user experience and product management through skilful collaboration with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to tackle highly technical and challenging initiatives from inception through to delivery. Strong interpersonal and communication skills have enabled me to bridge the gap between business strategy and practical delivery, ensuring that the stakeholders and developers clearly understand each other and that everyone is able to buy in to the vision for the project or product. As a Project Manager, and later as a Production Manager supervising end-to-end production workflows, I have had the opportunity to oversee the processes, systems and successful delivery of hundreds of digital projects for over 40 brands across a variety of industries and regions, equating to budgets well into the millions. With more than 7 years actively adopting Agile values and principles, I have been able to mature a number of high performing delivery teams, through the creation of a safe environment that encourages a "fail fast" and "learn faster" attitude. This efficiency was a key requirement in the smaller agencies I was involved with as they began to grow and the demand was often higher than the number of delivery resources that were available. Extensive hands-on experience across many different aspects of digital, from strategy and UX/UI all the way through to development, has given me well-rounded insight into solutions end-to-end, and has helped me communicate with skilled resources in a way that they understand. This has proven to be an asset in every team I have worked with.
