About Cara Duff

1st class honours BA (Hons) Marketing Graduate with 12 months experience as Communications Officer in National College of Irelands Students' Union. Seeking new opportunities in marketing and advertising. I am highly motivated and demonstrate a pro-active and can-do mindset, with a strong work ethic. Worked part-time throughout college as well as being a member of the Students' Union in Final year and receiving a 1:1 degree while being the project manager of my thesis group. Experience in meeting though deadlines and demanding working environments from my experience working in the Students' Union and live projects from NCI. Skilled in leadership, communication, working in teams and organisation from my time as a class representative, working part-time and being in the students' union. Capstone Project: Collaborated with Shopify as part of a group assignment. Created “Coaster & co.” A convenient coaster that you can plug into your laptop to keep your tea or coffee warm while you go about your busy work day. Created a Shopify store and marketed this product using the Shopify website and various social media to attract our target market, as well as creating a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds.
