My personality is characterized by empathy, compassion, and a strong desire to help others. I have a patient and non-judgmental approach, which allows me to build trust and rapport with the people I work with and I enjoy building meaningful relationships. Additionally, I have excellent communication skills, which enable me to communicate complex ideas effectively in a clear and concise manner. my experience as a support worker has taught me to provide individualised support to meet the unique needs of each person. As a support worker, I have gained hands-on experience in supporting individuals with various mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I also have experience working with individuals who have a range of support needs including disabilities, and other complex needs. I have been involved in developing and implementing support plans, providing crisis intervention, providing emotional and practical support, and advocating for the needs of my clients while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. I have gained valuable experience while working with children in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. I have had the opportunity to work with children of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, and to develop a range of skills to support their social, emotional, and physical well-being. I have developed strong communication and interpersonal skills, which are essential for building positive relationships with children, their families, and other camp staff. I have also honed my problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, helping to create a positive and safe environment for children. My experiences have taught me the importance of teamwork, leadership, and creativity in supporting the growth and development of children.
