About Cara Hazelton

Cara is looking forward to opportunities where she can help our communities become healthier. The current medical system cannot sustain nor grow to meet the demand that will be put upon it in the coming decade due the health of our population. Cara believes that through education and skill building she can help Maritimers find joy in healthy choices and lifestyle. Currently, much of Cara's time is spent working with doctors and physios who want her expertise as part of their team of care for patients. It is her combined academic knowledge and hands on experience that makes her a powerhouse in problem solving. Cara's Authentic Pilates studio is busy and booked well in advance with clients ranging from weekend warriors to elite athletes and spans all ages, abilities, injuries and illnesses. Cara’s love for business started during her first degree, a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing/Management) from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax. Shortly after graduation she appeared in the Wall Street Journal for her business acumen in 2001 (When she was only 22). Receiving three awards and countless nominations Cara is an exceptional entrepreneur as well as healthy lifestyle advocate.
