About Cara Jones
I am currently a student at Belmont University pursuing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse with a BS in Exercise and Sport Science with a Pre-Physical Therapy emphasis and a Nutrition minor. While in school, I spent time volunteering for the HorseSense for Special Riders therapeutic riding program and the Milwaukee VA Hospital, gaining a lot of great experience working in different rehab settings and with different populations of people. After graduating from UW-L, I worked for a year as a full-time Rehab Aide in the inpatient and outpatient departments of the Advocate Aurora Hospital in Grafton, WI. These opportunities have set me up for success in PT school, and I cannot wait to continue down this road to my dream career.
