About Cara Robinson

Cara serves as a Consultant at Qualis Health after having served the organization for several years as the Vice President of Care Management Services. Currently, she is responsible for supporting public and private sector care management programs dedicated to improving healthcare value and quality. These programs include Qualis Health's care management activities for Medicaid agencies, workers' compensation and commercial payers. Cara is a nurse manager with over 30 years of experience in healthcare administration, quality improvement and managed care. Before joining Qualis Health in 2003, Cara held a variety of clinical and care management positions at Group Health Cooperative in Seattle, including Director of Care Management East Region and nursing positions in the primary care, specialty clinic and emergency room settings. Cara also held several case management and utilization management leadership positions at Premera Blue Cross of Washington. Cara holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from Long Beach City College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach. She is a Certified Case Manager and a RN in the state of Washington. She is also a member of the Case Management Society of America and the Washington Case Management Association
