About Cara Sequino

Cara Sequino is a licensed Architect and Sustainability Professional (LEED and ENVISION) in Denver, CO. She has experience supervising local and international staff and has a diverse professional background, including architectural design, teaching, construction management, fundamentals of New Urbanism, project management, and program management. She specializes in technical writing as well as sustainability implementation throughout the design and construction applications of water infrastructure and commercial projects all over the world. Design: Cara's experience includes client interface and scoping, project management, team management, program management and master planning, development of design standards, engineering systems coordination, and quality review of consultant architects and peers. She is a LEED AP and an ENVISION Sustainability Professional. Construction: Cara’s Master’s Degree in Construction Management compliments her proficiency in construction administration. She has participated in managing the submittal, RFI, and change management procedures for large-scale construction activities. Business Development: Cara has worked to advance business development of infrastructure-related BIM capabilities on national and international projects, including branding, marketing, sales, client relations, and technical integration. Management: Cara is a “people” person and is team-oriented, creative, and energetic! She manages project and team budget, schedule, and workload, as well as staff performance reviews and evaluations. Community: Cara is an active member of AIA and NCARB, holding positions on the Board of Directors and various committees. She is a volunteer in the community, a multi-award winner, and a college instructor of sustainable architecture.
