For over 18 years Cara Spearin has been serving in her community as Paramedic, spending countless hours in the field of medicine, managing crisis, pain and life threatening emergencies. However over the course of her career, the times where she found she could truly impact a life or a family showed themselves when the work involved listening, caretaking and holding space in difficult moments. Cara has successful completion with Douglas College’s End of Life Doula Course, is a Level Two Reiki Healer as well as course completion in Medical Cannabis & CBD Oil. She is backed by both the Death Doula Ontario Network and a memeber of the End of Life Doula Association of Canada. Death, dying and the spaces between have leant to great perspective, meaning and a feeling of honour to be a part of life’s most intimate moments.
