About Cara Viglucci

I am a student in the Honours Economics program at McGill University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Hispanic Studies. Completing classes in both mathematics and microeconomics has allowed me to hone skills in problem solving and analysis. They have required me to think critically about how I organize my days (as well as my desk) and taught me patience, too. I also deeply enjoy attending classes in anthropology and art history, which challenge me to ask questions about myself, history, and society as it is today. Thus, it is my goal to search for work opportunities that combine analytical, detail-oriented tasks with big-picture goals aimed at positively influencing society through thoughtful policy. In my spare time I am a part-time independent contractor for Swift Horse Marketing, where I practice search engine optimization and SEO ghostwriting. I have written for several food blogs, reinforcing my ability to write clearly and concisely, to communicate precisely, to manage my time wisely, and to handle mistakes with humility. When I am not studying or working at the library, you might find me playing piano, watching NHL games, reading a good story, or discovering Montreal with my friends!
