About Carey Linderer

Currently I develop Strategic Facility Plans for LM Missiles and Fire Control portfolio of over 11 million sq ft of office, lab, manufacturing, and warehouse space to meet the increasing demands from our customers. From May of 2015 to March 2018 I was the Facilities Site Manager for MFC - Dallas Operations with 4 direct reports and an expense budget of over $25M. Responsible for over 2.8M sq ft of office, lab, manufacturing, and storage space supporting over Lockheed Martin employees and sub-contractors. From April of 2013 to May 2015 I was the Facilities Engineering Manager for Lockheed Martin Operations in Goodyear Az. managing 14 direct reports and an annual controllable budget of $2.8M. Responsible for over 500k sq ft of office, lab, manufacturing, storage, and hangar space supporting approximately 600 Lockheed Martin and sub-contract employees. For twenty years I worked as a Strategic Facility Planner analyzing manpower trends, building occupancies, space utilization, office guidelines, and infrastructure requirements as they relate to the corporate business plan. Using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and FM Data Management facility management software, I prepared reports and presentations with business case recommendations for future facility projects. I had strategic planning responsibilities for LM- IS & GS for the Western United States of approximately 3 M sq ft of Lab, Manufacturing, Storage, and Office space. I have developed and presented workspace plans, facilities budgets, and schedules that meet or exceed customer expectations. As my assignments have changed, I have mentored employees on best practices and corporate culture to insure their success. I have served on several companywide teams as a facilities subject matter expert, developing cost reduction strategies and process improvements.
