About Cari Coetzee

Cari is passionate about using her skills and expertise to co-create digital solutions that have a real impact on the daily lives of target users and, by extension, their communities. She has a proven track record of co-creating and managing content and engagement for digital interventions in Ethiopia, Indonesia, Nigeria, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Uganda and Zimbabwe. She combines technical and digital know-how, advanced writing skills, complex problem solving, design thinking and an abundance of empathy for the users to ensure the successful design, development, and deployment of digital interventions that drive positive change. As a Content Designer, she works with multiple departments from multiple nationalities in the conceptualisation, design and delivery of projects. Beyond delivery, she invests in building sustainable, scalable and supportive communities by designing and applying user-centric content and engagement strategies in collaboration with in-country teams. She continuously measures and monitors the behaviour of users, and their environments, to adapt and enhance strategies; and to ensure meaningful engagement with target users for clients/partners such as Unilever, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, UNCDF, PSI and SNV.
