About Cari Downing

I’m a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBCHWC) with over five years of experience helping people build healthier, more fulfilling lives not through quick fixes, but by getting to the heart of what really matters: self-compassion, mindset, and sustainable change. I specialize in mindfulness-based coaching, including grounded habit-building, emotional well-being, and shifting self-talk through techniques like Mindful Self-Compassion, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My clients often tell me I help them see things in a new light, feel more focused and present, and experience real growth: mentally, physically, emotionally, and even professionally. Alongside individual coaching, I’m also an educator and content creator. I host webinars and serve as an adjunct professor, where I teach and facilitate conversations around wellness, communication, and behavior change. I’ve also contributed to program development, onboarding systems, and employee wellness initiatives that improve both client outcomes and team dynamics. I’m equally at home coaching one-on-one, teaching a room full of students, or designing a new process from the ground up. I love solving problems and streamlining systems, but more than anything, I care about making a meaningful impact. I thrive in remote roles with autonomy, collaboration, and purpose.
