About Carie Shingleton
Throughout my career I have completed projects in many diverse markets with amazing firms. SFCS has given me the opportunity to lead the interiors team. Since my introduction to Senior Living design in 2004, I have found a passion for enriching the senior experience through design. Always happy to answer any question I can, or find the answer to one I cannot. I am a Certified Interior Designer through NCIDQ certification as well as a LEED Accredited Professional since 2002, and WELL AP since 2021. I bring over 25 years of multi-disciplined, design experience in a wide array of market sectors to include Senior Living, Corporate, Healthcare, Education, Cultural, Hospitality & Government. I believe strongly that to be successful as a design professional you need to have the desire and drive of continual learning, complimented with commitment to giving back through mentoring. I have also been an Adjunct Professor at Moore College of Art and Design over the years, and an active member of IIDA, and the Delaware Valley Green Building Council.
