Carien has been in the medical devices industry since and have extensive experience in Spine, Neuro and Orthopedics. She was promoted to National Product Manager: Hip & Knee in South Africa, a position she held for 2 years, with very positive results and outcomes for the Sales Team. Carien relocated to Sydney, Australia in the beginning of 2017 where she joined the Spine Team and took on the challenge to re-establish and build her allocated territory. Not only did she achieve her annual quota in 8 months, but delivered 100%+ growth for the year. At the Annual Sales Awards she not only walked away with the prestigious Spine Sales Representative of the Year Award for Stryker SSP, but also received the John Brown award for the Highest $ Sales in Spine. In 2019 Carien relocated to the Sunshine Coast as Stryker NSE (Neuro Spine and ENT) TM selling capital equipment, once again starting a new territory with all the related challenges. After achieving 2 consecutive annual sales quotas, finishing in excess of 120% FYR PTQ both years, Carien became part of the prestigious Executive Territory Managers Group. In 2023 Carien achieved her 3rd consecutive annual Sales quota, smashing 12/12 consecutive quarterly quotas and is set on finishing the year in excess of 145%FYR PTQ and growth in excess of 30%, this while she was tasked with running the whole of Qld for 8 months of the year. Carien is highly competitive, self motivated, organised, realises the importance of teamwork and is passionate about helping people, her level of attention to detail and customer service is second to none.
