Hello, my name is Carissa Bruton. I am a Care Coordinator at Atrium Health Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility where I support patient care in a hospital-based clinic setting through scheduling, registration, and referral coordination. I am pursuing a career in healthcare administration, with a specific focus on gender equity and reproductive health. I have experience in medical referrals management, data entry and analysis, customer service, crisis management, health education, and reproductive health research. Health policy, insurance access, and barriers to health care have driven my commitment to public health as I have witnessed severe health inequities during my time in rural Texas and New Orleans. I am dedicated to working to improve access to inclusive, quality healthcare.
