About Carius Whitaker

I am a rising a sophomore studying Neuroscience and Philosophy at Boston University. Some projects that I have been involved in include Joining UNIT activist group based in Arlington,Texas that was a coalition of individuals around the country working to make an impact on our community. Working with UNIT we did numerous volunteering events and even got a local high school to remove a culturally insensitive mascot. As a senior in high school after encountering racism I spoke to my school administration and decided to post discussion boards on topics like Universal Healthcare and Free Education to better educate students at my school. At Boston University I recently became a Neuroscience and Philosophy Major this previous semester and in my classes I have acquired proper lab skills and can navigate a basic lab with ease. I would love to gain more lab and clinical experience.I also am serving in my second academic school year in a row as Music Director Boston University’s In achord which is an on campus A capella group.
