About Carl Archacki

President of CREATE since April of 2022. CREATE, Cambridge Revitalization Economic and Tourism Expansion, is a non-profit organization to support & encourage revitalization in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania. The purpose of CREATE is to foster a broad range of improvements in the Cambridge Springs area through revitalization efforts including, but not limited to: development of vacant / brown space to enable business growth in the area, community planning and beautification, historical preservation and embracing the French Creek Waterway, and advancement of the arts. CREATE is supporting these objectives in following the IRS 501C3 guidelines by providing planning, organizational, managerial and financial resources in support of targeted redevelopment initiatives. In July of 2023, I was honored to be awarded Citizen of the Year in Cambridge Springs, PA. Previously I spent 42 successful years in broadcast television advertising sales from 1979 to 2021; 7 years at WSEE-TV, the CBS affiliate in Erie, PA from October 1979 to April 1986, and then 35 years at WRIC-TV, the ABC affiliate in Richmond, VA from April 1986 to November 2021. A consummate professional in the advertising industry, I grew all types of businesses, from small to large, direct and agency- based, through a targeted multi-media approach. Additionally, I worked with several non-profits to assist with their fund-raising and marketing objectives, many times thru third party paid sponsorships. This experience helped guide me back to my hometown of Cambridge Springs, PA to launch CREATE in the spring of 2022.
