Throughout my career, I have valued working with Risk Managers to develop innovative insurance solutions that enable them to manage their risk and grow their business. There has never been a more exciting time to be part of Lloyd's and the London Insurance market as the both are experiencing transformational change. I have been CEO of Syndicate 1221 (Navigators Underwriting Agency Ltd.) since 2016, and since The Hartford completed the acquisition of The Navigators Group, we too have become stronger together. I have been in the London Market since 2001 in variety of senior management and underwriting leadership positions. My technical expertise lies in Director’s and Officer’s liability, where I successfully built Financial Lines business for both AIG and Navigators. Working in this market has allowed me to gain valuable experience underwriting multinational companies, managing across cultures, and developing my executive management skills. I have a proven track record of successfully building Professional Liability teams of underwriters and portfolios of business. I created a team at AIG Excess to write International Liability business, taking the business from in 2001 to in 2008. In 2009, I joined Navigator’s Underwriting Agency Limited to create an excess Director and Officer Liability portfolio of business worldwide. Within one year, I assumed responsibility for Professional Lines and restructured the business to reduce operating expenses and increase revenues. Currently in my role as Head of NavPro, I manage a diverse team of 16 people located in London, Sweden, Denmark, and China. I enjoy managing across different cultures and frequently travel around the globe to visit with our broker partners and Insured’s.
