Whilst with Network Rail, I have adapted to the ever changing needs of the company requirements, ensuring we meet the Service Level Agreements with our Train Operators and the Office of Rail Regulator. I have gained extensive experience and knowledge in the following. Monitoring of the building compliance standards and associated remedial action plans. Management of the CEFA inspection contract to ensure that our survey inspections programme is managed to timescales to ensure compliance with our statutory obligations. Liaised closely with various department including Geotechnical, Structural, Track, Signal & Telecom and other Stakeholders. Provision of audited surveys of the OPI reports together with a verification process and tracking log to ensure compliance with NR Standards. Project Management of over 60 line-side building roof renewals at high priority traction sub-stations to timescales and within budgets. Close liaison with third parties and stakeholders for all electrical plant shut downs, access requirements and maintenance requirements. Negotiation at senior level to gain funding for key projects within the route with successful Investment Panel Board reviews. Sponsoring role on franchise station refurbishment projects inclusive of canopies works, platform renewals, footbridge refurbishments and replacements. Management of the PPM programme for line-side buildings with the aim of identifying MTBF figures. Management of a Water Risk Assessment (site specific) programme for the manned line-side Building portfolio to ensure comply with legislation. Attendance of the Sussex Trespass & Suicide Prevention Group, working closely with the Samaritans, Train Operating Companies and the British Transport Police. Asbestos Management Process (for Stations and line-side buildings). Close liaison with Railway Heritage Projects. Chaired Personnel discipline hearings.
