Responsible for project management concerning all phases of groundwater and soil investigations, including field operations, reporting, regulatory compliance reviews, and regulatory interaction. Developed sample collection and field QA/QC procedures for numerous groundwater, surface water, wastewater, stormwater, and soil investigations. Logistical manager of four mobile remediation systems – coordinating mobile remediation system operations, and ensuring that mobile remediation equipment and personnel perform at optimal efficiency. Fifteen years of experience in the environmental industry including one year as an analyst at an environmental laboratory where I became familiar with QA/QC and data validation procedures. This laboratory experience in the area of QA/QC has been augmented by eight years of experience as a project manager for environmental consulting firms working throughout Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. Project management duties during this time included development of sampling plans for subsurface water and soil investigations, implementation of QA/QC plans related to these site assessments, and validation of data resulting from sample collection activities. Directed numerous environmental assessments (Phase I through Phase while focusing on the management of UST site investigations including tank closures, free product abatement, site characterization reports, corrective action plans, groundwater hydrology field studies, and contaminant fate and transport modeling. Complete management of contaminated soil and groundwater sites has augmented my expertise in QA/QC strategies, Health and Safety Plan development, waste management, regulatory compliance, and bidded services procurement.
