About Carl Gibson

Since Carl has been building upon his service oriented philosophy of providing solutions to the design + construction challenges clients bring to him. After design theory at Georgia Tech school of Architecture, he changed his focus to the technical side of construction + detailing at Southern Polytechnic State University. Beginning his career in smaller firms allowed him to become intimate with his projects and better understand how the smallest details can directly affect the finished product that the project owners were seeking. Carl carried the knowledge of how this affected the final design into his commercial design experience solving his way through many award-winning projects across Georgia, New York, Colorado, Florida, Oklahoma, and Texas. He used his background in technology to maintain the advantages that the Building Information modeling process brings to his clients’ projects and project teams. The marriage of this technology + design focused attention to projects allows Carl and his teams to provide superior stories of design + construction for their clients. Today you can find Carl running the design group at the Delineations Tulsa studio in south Tulsa. Carl partnered with Delineations, Inc in 2016 to bring the award-winning design + client oriented process that Delineations has developed over the last few decades to the Green Country design + building scene. When he’s not at the design studio you will find Carl teaching something somewhere. Whether on the soccer field, online in a chat room, at home with his kids he loves to learn through sharing his knowledge with others. This was the reason he wanted to open a design firm to begin with: to provide an environment in which other designers can grow in their passion and career.
