About Carl Heller

Experienced software architect and team leader with a strong track record of delivering scalable, high-impact solutions across the health tech industry. I specialize in bridging the gap between technical execution and strategic vision, with expertise spanning full-stack development, system architecture, database optimization, and cloud infrastructure. I’ve led initiatives from greenfield builds to modernization of legacy systems, and have worked closely with cross-functional teams to align technical direction with business goals. Known for mentoring developers, driving performance improvements, and helping early-stage startups find structure and traction. In parallel, I’ve been conducting independent research into applications of large language models (LLMs), particularly in the context of healthcare — exploring how they can be applied to enhance clinical decision support and improve patient communication. Currently interested in leadership roles where I can combine technical depth with organizational influence — with an eye toward Director-level opportunities.
