I have worked in some form of therapy for 34 years. The last eight years as a Physical Therapist Assistant with Enhabit Home Health and Hospice. Prior to that I was certified as an Athletic Trainer - working DII sports 14 years and Outpatient Orthopedics 12 years. My love is therapy. It's more than "a treatment" to preserve, prevent, restore, rehabilitate, enhance, educate. If we don't connect the patients understanding or ability to own the treatment/exercise than the carry over for progress is nullified. It requires all our senses to exploit and train those impairments the body has developed or actions it has forgotten were automatic.
