About Carl Klimfors

After starting my career in finance I have spent much of my career with Accenture and working with clients in all industries, transforming their businesses through management consulting assignments, business process- and IT outsourcing and large scale transformation projects. I have had the privilege of traveling around the world and also spent longer stretches of time living in Spain, Turkey and the Czech Republic. This has given me a lot and working with people in other parts of the world with very different cultures and habits has been a wonderful learning experience. Since about 7 years I have settled back home and some years ago I took the step from the consulting world to join Tryg Insurance in Denmark. It was a great opportunity to leverage my experience at the same time as I got a new type of challenge. Working with digital transformation in the insurance industry and now, with Ikano Bank, is a privilege and a fascinating task. Throughout most of my career I have had one foot planted in delivery of some sort and the other one in business development and sales. Combining challenges coming from both strategic and practical focus areas is something I truly enjoy and I strongly believe all transformation has to start with the customer journey and follow the whole way through in order to be successful.
